Hyperconvergence (HCI) and virtualization

We build private clouds on Nutanix, Red Hat OpenShift or SUSE — each a self-sufficient platform — and move workloads off VMware without disrupting the business.

Challenges we address

  • You need a platform for production, test and VDI environments that scales out node by node without downtime
  • VMware licensing costs have gone up — you need an alternative and a clear VM migration plan
  • Applications are moving to containers — you need enterprise-grade Kubernetes alongside your virtual machines
  • Infrastructure must survive a site failure: a cluster stretched across two data centers

Private cloud platforms and migration

Nutanix, Red Hat and SUSE are independent platforms: a private cloud can be built on any of them. We choose based on your workloads, team and budget; where needed, Red Hat OpenShift is deployed on the Nutanix platform, and an external cloud platform is added on top.

Private cloud on Nutanix

A hyperconverged platform: compute, storage and virtualization in a single cluster under unified management.

  • Nutanix clusters for production, test and VDI environments
  • Nutanix AHV hypervisor as an alternative to VMware
  • Nutanix Kubernetes Platform and Nutanix Database Service (NDB)
  • Nutanix Unified Storage: file, block and S3-compatible object storage

Private cloud on Red Hat OpenShift

A Kubernetes-based platform for containers and virtual machines, built for teams moving to microservices.

  • Red Hat OpenShift: Kubernetes, containers, microservices
  • Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization — virtual machines alongside containers
  • Red Hat OpenShift AI — an environment for machine learning models
  • Red Hat subscriptions and ongoing platform support

Private cloud on SUSE

An open Kubernetes-based platform: virtualization and cluster management from a single console.

  • SUSE Virtualization (Harvester) — a hyperconverged virtualization platform built on Kubernetes
  • SUSE Rancher Prime — management of Kubernetes clusters and virtualization environments
  • SUSE Linux Enterprise Server — the server operating system
  • SUSE subscriptions and ongoing platform support

OpenShift on the Nutanix platform

A separate option for teams that need Red Hat containers on Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.

  • Red Hat OpenShift can be deployed on the Nutanix platform (AHV)
  • Support is split: OpenShift software by Red Hat, infrastructure by Nutanix

A cloud platform on top

When self-service and a single portal are needed, an external orchestrator or cloud platform, such as OpenStack, is selected to sit above the virtualization platform.

  • The orchestrator is selected separately from the virtualization platform
  • We check compatibility with the chosen platform against vendor documentation before deployment

Migrating off VMware

We choose the target platform and migrate virtual machines following a plan with checkpoints and a rollback path. Proxmox suits simple configurations; for large enterprises the most mature options are Nutanix, Red Hat and SUSE.

  • Nutanix AHV, Red Hat, SUSE, Proxmox — comparison and platform selection
  • Inventory and workload analysis of your existing VM estate
  • Phased VM migration with no downtime for critical services
  • Acceptance testing and knowledge transfer to your team

What we do

  1. Audit and sizing

Inventory, workload analysis and cluster sizing based on actual workloads, not the sum of VM disk sizes.

  2. Architecture

We design single- and dual-site clusters, networking and storage, and compare platforms with no vendor lock-in.

  3. Supply

Hardware and licenses: Lenovo ThinkAgile HX, Nutanix, Red Hat and SUSE subscriptions — import and logistics.

  4. Deployment and migration

Commissioning, zero-downtime migration of virtual machines and data, acceptance testing.

  5. 24/7/365 support

We run, evolve and tune the platform for your workloads; vendor support and updates.

Projects

All projects
HCI · Two data centers

Bank HCI platform across two data centers

Challenge
Give core banking systems a platform that survives the loss of a site and scales with the workload.
What we did
We designed and deployed a Nutanix cluster stretched across two geographically separated data centers. We support, expand and tune the platform for the workload of core banking systems.
Result

Disaster-resilient infrastructure that grows with the business.

Private cloud · Nutanix and Red Hat

Private cloud on Nutanix and Red Hat

Challenge
Build a private cloud for a major operator, sized for real workloads, and scale it without overpaying for licenses.
What we did
We designed the architecture and sized it for real workloads: a Nutanix hyperconverged platform with Red Hat on top. We planned phased expansion and licensing, supplied the hardware and commissioned the cloud.
Result

The cloud scales in phases, with no money wasted on unneeded licenses.

Questions and answers

Can you migrate off VMware without disrupting the business?
Yes, migration off VMware happens in phases with a plan that has checkpoints and a rollback path: first the target platform is chosen — Red Hat, SUSE, Proxmox or Nutanix AHV — then virtual machines are migrated with no downtime for critical services.
What is the difference between a private cloud on Nutanix and one on Red Hat OpenShift?
Nutanix is a hyperconverged platform where compute, storage and virtualization run in a single cluster under unified management. Red Hat OpenShift is a Kubernetes-based platform for containers and virtual machines (OpenShift Virtualization) for teams moving to microservices. Each lets you build a private cloud on its own; in addition, OpenShift can be deployed on the Nutanix platform — the combination is chosen based on workloads and team.
Which HCI and virtualization vendors do you work with?
We work with Nutanix, Red Hat, SUSE, Proxmox, Lenovo and Dell Technologies. For large enterprises the most mature platforms are Nutanix, Red Hat and SUSE; Proxmox suits simple configurations.
Can the platform survive the failure of an entire data center?
Yes, a cluster can be stretched across two geographically separate data centers — that is how, for example, a bank’s HCI platform on Nutanix was built to survive the failure of one site.
Our approach

The full cycle under one roof

  1. Audit and assessment

Inventory, workload analysis, IT and security risk assessment

  2. Design

Architecture, sizing, vendor comparison, procurement specifications

  3. Supply

Hardware and licenses from 35+ vendors, import and logistics

  4. Deployment and migration

Commissioning, zero-downtime data and system migration, acceptance testing

  5. Training

Knowledge transfer to your IT team, courses on databases, security and AI

  6. 24/7/365 support

    SLAs, monitoring, updates, vendor support

One team owns the project from assessment to day-to-day operations — no gaps in accountability between the supplier, the integrator and the service provider.
