Oracle · 24/7 service

Oracle support and managed operations

Challenge: Keep a large customer’s business-critical Oracle databases — about 1 PB of data — running around the clock, with the entire stack owned by a single accountable team.
What we did: We run the entire stack: Oracle software, Exadata, Oracle Database Appliance and the network. We support RAC, Data Guard standby databases and backups; upgrades and system relocations are delivered as separate projects.

Result

One team is accountable for everything; critical databases run 24/7 under strict SLAs.

HCI · Two data centers

Challenge: Give core banking systems a platform that survives the loss of a site and scales with the workload.
What we did: We designed and deployed a Nutanix cluster stretched across two geographically separated data centers. We support, expand and tune the platform for the workload of core banking systems.

Result

Disaster-resilient infrastructure that grows with the business.

Private cloud · Nutanix and Red Hat

Challenge: Build a private cloud for a major operator, sized for real workloads, and scale it without overpaying for licenses.
What we did: We designed the architecture and sized it for real workloads: a Nutanix hyperconverged platform with Red Hat on top. We planned phased expansion and licensing, supplied the hardware and commissioned the cloud.

Result

The cloud scales in phases, with no money wasted on unneeded licenses.

Storage area networks

Challenge: Replace end-of-life Brocade directors and switches and move the entire workload to a new storage network without taking services down.
What we did: We built a next-generation FC SAN on two independent A/B fabrics and migrated servers, storage systems and the tape library onto it without downtime. We have delivered projects like this before.

Result

A modern storage network with headroom in bandwidth and port count — and zero service downtime.

Data · Analytics

Challenge: Prepare a compute and storage platform for analytics, anti-fraud and credit scoring, with room for data growth.
What we did: We designed and expanded the platform: sizing based on actual data growth, host redundancy and all-flash storage.

Result

An analytics platform with spare capacity and no single point of failure.

Networks · Perimeter

Challenge: Build data center networks and inter-site links, and secure the perimeter in line with regulatory requirements.
What we did: We design and build data center networks and inter-site links on Juniper and secure the perimeter with Fortinet and Palo Alto next-generation firewalls: architecture and segmentation, BGP routing, policy migration and cluster expansion.

Result

A segmented, manageable network and a secure perimeter that meets regulatory requirements.

AI · GPU

Challenge: Gain in-house compute for training, inference and local LLMs without sending data to public clouds.
What we did: We select a GPU platform for the customer’s use cases: we size compute, memory, storage and networking, supply and commission the servers, and prepare the environment for running models.

Result

In-house AI capacity inside the perimeter: data never leaves for public clouds.
